Sheikh Mohamed Gebril was born and raised in Egypt. By the age of 9, he had memorised the Holy Quran and won 1st place multiple times in Quran competitions within the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Islamic world. He received many awards in recognition of his endowment from many Islamic countries which he has visited.

With his level of education, he had the opportunity to work on many religious programs on Jordanian television which then led him to become a teacher of the Holy Quran at the University of Jordan. Sheikh Jebril has willingly travelled to many countries around the world to lead congregational prayers in Mosques and give many lectures in Islamic centres regarding the sciences of the Quran.
